second sunday of advent

Last night we opened the most delicious bottle of wine I have ever tasted

(Thank you Michelle and Brian!), enjoyed potato soup with dill bread, played with puppets and the nativity set animals, listened to some guitar, and read Beautiful Joe.

Makes me wonder why we ever bother with a movie.
