I was a little late this year getting around to making an advent candle. On Friday we drove out of town a little ways to find some evergreen. I got two wreaths out of the deal, one for the table and a larger one for the front door, all for a buck(the cost of the floral wire.) Although, if I were to do it again I would first create a circular form out of sticks and then attach the needles. The wreath by the front door is a little floppy.
Never the less, the Christmas season is finally here, and the wreathes are a little reminder of that. Today I'll have to remember to pull the nativity out. I'm sure Simon would love to throw all the pieces around!
