Simon turned 12 this past January. TWELVE.
His last year of being a "little boy," and then off into uncharted waters we'll go...
He's slowly turning big, this one.
Goodness, those feet are large, I'm sure he'll no longer be able to fit into my shoes next winter.
And tall, especially when he throws on those skates I can barely get a grip on his helmet to buckle it!
He's still a goofy guy who loves food, all TV (especially Larvae), music, friends, cuddling and babies.
We spent his birthday at the boys' very first hockey tournament and rounded out the evening with family, Mexican music, nachos and Tres Leches cake.
Simon's easy-going, loving nature is such a blessing to our family.
Simon's gift from Grandma and Grandpa McMahan was a ski trip to Anchorage. So, the week before his birthday the boys and I headed in together leaving Alex with the littles. We all had a blast skiing -they both caught on so quickly!- and we were able to spend the night with Joe and Amanda and catch up before heading home the next day.
I think they are hooked.
