After one very long drive, some serious potty training lapses..., more than a couple moments of "what in the world are we doing back in Alaska with no toilet!!!?, a very clingy sick baby, one very trashed/unorganized Red Garage and numerous other second guesses...the leaves budded.
All of Gakona is suddenly turning green, the wild lupin has bloomed and soon soon soon the rest of the garden can be planted.
This must be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
We're finally getting our feet back underneath us, we officially have a toilet :) and I have one little boy in particular who is in heaven with all of the tractors, airplanes, fourwheelers, trucks, plenty of dirty and rocks as well as loads of grandparents to dote on him.
As for little Will, thank goodness for the baby back pack. I'm going to be awfully strong by the end of this summer. I have to admit, it is pretty darn cute the way he leans over my shoulder to get a better look, or to just give me a grin.
