One last goodbye to Wiesbaden

Early morning, grabbing breakfast at the bakery down the street.

Grabbing some breakfast early morning while our house is "inspected."

Goodbye 53 Westfalen Strasse

Hard to believe our home is no longer Wiesbaden.
We very much loved our time living there and will miss being surrounded by beautiful architecture, delicious fresh food, wonderful restaurants, constant festivals, and incredible travel at our fingertips.
It was amazing to say the least.

We wrapped up our last month home, living out of suitcases and doing our best to stay cool. That and getting our last "bucket list' things wrapped up of course. All those, "just one more time's" that tend to happen when you know you're leaving a place forever.

-We took the bus a number of times to our favorite pool- Kallebad in Dotszeim.
-Ate our favorite pizza at our favoirte place along while enjoying local beer and watching the kiddos chase pigeons.
-Had one last Nero Tortofellu Sundae- It. Is. So. Good.
-Relished a relaxing Saturday morning breakfast date together while watching the coming and going of people on foot and on bike.

-As well as did a lot, and lot of walking being without a car.

On our second to last night it seemed fitting to head downtown one last time to enjoy a little german food and beer at the Pauliner- the first restaurant we ever ate at after moving here. :)
It was certainly bittersweet as we walked for the last time past all the familiar landmarks, buildings and streets and thought, "Man, this is the last time we'll do this...!"

Germany will be missed, that is for certain.
But, at the same time we are also grateful for this next season of life and looking forward to seeing what the future holds.

We'll always take a little piece of our life there with us.
